World Wide Play Day

The World Wide Day of Play is an event that was started back in in 2004 on Nickelodeon. It happens on a Saturday in late September or early October. The purpose of the event is to get kids and parents to disconnect from their televisions and electronic devices to go outside and play.
In 2011, Webkinz World participated in the event for the very first time.
On Saturday, September 24th, 2011 from 12pm to 3pm (EST) Webkinz World will be unavailable so that players will be encouraged to take a break to go outside and play. Being active and living a healthy lifestyle has been a recent theme on Webkinz Newz as well as in Webkinz World.
Holiday Gift
The Holiday Gift for Play Day is an Active Pet Lunch Bag containing a Go Play Sandwich, Smiling Watermelon Slices, and Organic Apple Juice.
