I edited and added your guide in the Avatars and Signatures article. Thanks a lot!--

For your signature, click on the "EDIT" tab for this page and use the code that you will see below:

Webberlily

At the top, under the pic of the Golden Retriever...

Click on My preferences

User Profile will pop up

Signature is about half way down

Webberlily

Copy and paste the code above into the Signature box. Be sure you are overwriting what is already there.

(The rule is that your signature name here MUST match your WI ID)

SAVE

Click on the tab "Date and Time"

Choose the second one.

SAVE

To use your signature:

See the buttons at the top?

B = Bold etc

The second to last one with the squiggles is the Signature button.

Click on it and you have inserted your signature -- --

I am at work but I am going to try your name in my signatuure box. I don't understand why you are getting those #93s and #124s when you type the Characters.--

Is the box below your signature about wikitext ticked? It should be.--

Do you press the Control F5 before or after you press Save?--CanonymousFile:sysop.jpg 10:58, 3 December 2009 (EST)

Thanks for responding Webberlily. I had to do it more than 10 times before it worked. Maybe you need to be sure the box is checked off first, then enter your signature...Also, if you read the Text beside the box, it gives the impression that you shouldn't tick the box because if you do, you turn off the auto-link feaure. Very odd and very frustrating. Thanks for your help.--
