In 2010, Ganz sent out the first ever "Summer Sensation Card".

On June 28th beginning in 2008, players logging on to their Webkinz World accounts received a Summer Sensation Gift. Unlike with other holidays, these gifts did not arrive in a box. A message popped up saying that the item had been awarded, and then it appeared in the dock.

Events
At the end of June, the Daily Activities in Webkinz World change on the weekdays from starting at 4pm KT to starting at 9am KT, just like on the weekends.
Also, on the day the Summer Sensation gifts are awarded, there are usually special Summer-themed Daily Activities and a spin on the Super Wheel.
In 2011 (June 28), a Click-to-Win, eligible participants could win a pair of WKN Sensational Summer Shades (one per Webkinz World account).
Ganz eStore Items
On June 21st, 2010, Ganz kicked off Summer in the Ganz eStore with a "First Day of Summer Sale". Some new items were introduced, and some old Summer-type items returned.
