Storage Units

Storage Units are simply any type of furniture that holds items. Examples of storage units are refrigerators that hold food and furniture such as dressers, chests, and toy boxes that hold clothing and toys.

Types of Items Held by Storage Units

Most storage furniture hold either food items (including recipes and candies) or nonfood items (such as clothing and toys), but a few storage items hold both, just books, or just wallpaper and flooring. A more comprehensive list of storage units can be found on the Storage page.

Footprint

Storage units also differ in their "footprint" which is the amount of space that they take up on the floor of your room. In a large room, the floor space is 10 footprint units by 10 footprint units. Visit the Inside Rooms page to see the sizes of all inside rooms.

Room Type

To find out into what type of rooms each storage unit can be placed (Inside, Outside, Underwater, or Treetop), go to the Where Things Go in Webkinz World page.

W Shop Nonfood Storage Units (Sortable by Cost)

The following sortable table shows W Shop storage units that hold nonfood items such as books, toys, and clothing. [2]


The Rattan Toy Box is the cheapeat indoor storage solution per item stored but it takes up two footprint spaces on your Webkinz room floor. The Sky Blue Book Box is a bit more expensive per item stored but takes up only one footprint unit of space.
