This event ran in Webkinz World in September 2011, December 2011, March 2012, September 2012, February 2013, March 2013, and April 2013.

Description

Star trading follows a concept similar to Trading Gems with Doug, but instead of finding Nafaria in the Clubhouse, you must find her flying across your screen in Webkinz World. Stars can be found in Alyssa's Star Challenge. When you find Nafaria flying across your screen, you will get a chance to trade your stars for Nafaria-themed prizes (see below).

Problems

Unfortunately, this event is filled with programming problems. Most Webkinz players complain that it is too difficult to find Nafaria, and that when she is found, it isn't worth it. Nafaria has been programmed that sometimes she will steal stars without awarding a prize, a feature that most think should not be part of a game aimed at children. Also, there have been complaints that Nafaria frequently disappears in a purple puff of smoke without offering to trade. Ganz stated on Facebook and on Twitter in September 2011 that they were working on this glitch, but it returned in December 2011 and March 2012.

Prizes

As with Trading Gems, there are different levels of prizes that can be won. Smaller prizes must be won before the larger ones.
