In 2010, Ganz introduced the Mother's Day Light Bloom to the Ganz eStore.
Ganz tried to treat the flower's release as a mystery, but contest advertisements showing the flower as one of the contest prizes started running one day before the mystery ads, so the flower's appearance was never really a mystery.
In 2011, Ganz introduced the Tribute to Mom Garden and Mother's Day Getaway.
Contests
In 2010 Ganz also ran three different Mother's Day themed contests on the Webkinz Newz site.
In 2011, Ganz ran a Mother's Day Prize Pack contest awarded to the best essay submitted to Webkinz Newz for how to surprise your mom. A Ms. Birdy Home Sweet Home Cross Stitch was a Click-to-Win prize from the Webkinz Newz site.
