Overview

Why clear your cache and cookies?

Many technical problems in Webkinz World can be solved by clearing your cache. Some problems can be solved by clearing your cookies as well, but in most cases, clearing your cache, alone, is sufficient.

What is a "cache?" What does it do?

Your web browser's cache stores older versions of internet files to speed up your web browsing. Clearing your cache forces your computer to fetch the latest version of web files from the Internet.

What are "cookies?" What do they do?

Cookies store user information like passwords and numbers of visits to a website. Clearing cookies deletes that information from your computer and browser.

What if my browser isn't listed below?

If instructions for your browser are not listed below, try the instructions for a different browser and see if your settings are in the same place. Depending on which browser you use, your Cache and Cookies settings can usually be found in your Preferences, Options, Settings, Tools, Privacy, Security, or Advanced menus. Poke around your menus and see what you find. Alternatively, if the problem still persists, you could always try downloading and installing a new browser.
