General Description

In the Griddle Class you will be flipping flapjacks and filling orders. Your goal is to make enough pancakes to fill each order and drench them in syrup. Be careful not to burn them! There are five levels of how cooked a pancake can be. They are: raw, undercooked, perfect, overcooked, and burnt. The size and number of your orders will increase at each level. Most people find this an easy class to complete.

You do not receive an additional prize when other pets pass this level.
The Griddle cannot be traded or kinzposted.

Level 10

When you complete level 10 you will have access to a new Arcade game: Griddling Gourmet Arcade Game. Chapman12, the first WI member to access the game, had this to say: "I couldn't be more disappointed. I actually enjoyed the Academy cooking classes and, unlike with the grooming game, I was looking forward to being able to play this cooking game. Now that I've tried it out a few times, I don't think I'll play it again. There are better games in the Arcade to play, and I don't have to go to school to access them."

Tips

  • Higher scores on the Griddle class plus High creativity scores will help you will Cooking Tournaments
  • While all of the pancakes are cooking, put your cursor to the almost-ready pancake.
  • Keep count of how many pancakes you need to fill in a order, otherwise you waste time.
  • You can keep your spatula under the pancakes and they will continue to cook, so you can flip them immediately and save time. (No need to wait for the pancake to finish cooking to put the spatula under it.) So, if you pay attention to the order in which the pancakes are put on the griddle, you can put your spatula under the next to turn brown without waiting for it to turn brown first, flip it quickly, and then move on to the next one.
