From Webkinz Insider Wiki
There are five different appliances in Webkinz World. They can be used to make Webkinz recipes.
Types of Appliances
Combine 3 different ingredients to possibly create a recipe on this appliance. There are many different types of stoves in Webkinz World. It is the most-used appliance. Grills, Barbecues, and Cauldrons are all also considered stoves and create the same recipes.
When three foods are used that do NOT create a recipe, on this appliance the result is called "Gunk" (in four hues: grey, orange, green, and blue.)
Combine 3 different ingredients to possibly create a recipe on this appliance. When three foods are used that do NOT create a recipe, on this appliance the result is called "Gak" (in four hues: grey, orange, green, and blue.)
The Sandwich Maker
Combine 3 different ingredients to possibly create a recipe on this appliance. When three foods are used that do NOT create a recipe, on this appliance the result is called "Blech" (in four hues: grey, orange, green, and blue.)
The Mega Stove
Combine 5 different ingredients in order to possibly create a recipe on this appliance. When five foods are used that do NOT create a recipe, on this appliance the result is called "Mega Gunk" (in only one pink-blue color.)
The Super Chef Stove
This appliance can only be found in the Clubhouse's Super Chef Room or the Daisy diner room. It will create regular stove recipes if three W Shop foods are inserted, or it can also make Super Secret Recipes with a combination of three regular secret recipes. For example, Abracaldo Dabra, Epochiquox Glimmer, and Wishful Whirlawhip mixed together in this appliance create the recipe Sorcusorbet (a list of all Super Secret Recipes can be found in the WebkinzInsider Cookbook). Also, you can mix color combinations of Gak, Gunk, or Blech to make Rainbow Gak, Gunk, or blech. When three foods are used that do NOT create a recipe, on this appliance the result is called "Creme de Rien."
Failed Attempts: Gak, Gunk, Blech, & Creme de Rien
When you try a combination (see below) that doesn't work, you will produce "yucky". Your pet doesn't like to eat these, but they can be fed. They can be sold, for some return on Kinzcash. Here are the different types of things you can make with a failed attempt:
- Blender- Gak. This sells for 3 KC.
- Sandwich Maker-Blech. This sells for 6 KC.
- Stove- Gunk. This sells for 6 KC.
- Mega Stove- Mega Gunk. This sells for KC
- Super Chef Stove- Creme De Rien. This sells for KC.
How to Do a Combination
To do just a simple combination, just drag three different W-Shope foods into the spaces, and press cook (See above). But, if you really want to contribute, and have the KC and time to do it, you can systematically try to solve the recipes. One approach to recipe solving is to use two basic food items combined with "Everything Else" on one of the appliances.
EE stands for everything else (all other possible foods that can be used on the appliance). Let's say I thought a recipe had at least almonds and apple juice, but I wasn't sure what else it could have. I could do an EE trial. What I would have to do is buy 108 of each food, and then buy everything else in the W-Shop (besides those two ingredients). Then I would put the two main ingredeints in the blender, along with one of the foods. I would have to do this for all the foods, making this a little bit of a long process.
On WI, we have a list of the combinations done, located in the Recipes section. You would need to report your elimination (after you're done) to this thread. You would record as so:
On Blender, Main Ingredient 1 + Main Ingredient 2 + EE= Gaks (mm/dd/yy)
So, for my elimination (stated above) I would report it as:
On Stove Almonds + Apple Juice + EE= 108 Gaks (12/25/10)
- Note- The numbers may vary, depending on if you have skipped any ingredients, or used cabbage.
This strategy of elimination is used on several threads on the wi forum that are devoted to recipe solving:

Interactive Recipe Tool
This tool provides a list of all recipes and is also searchable by both ingredient and appliance. For example, you can look up all recipes that contain "mushrooms".
Pictures of All Recipes
The pictures of all recipes are very useful for members wishing to try to solve Super Chef Recipes.
History of Recipes
The history pages summarize when Ganz introduced particular recipes, when they were solved, and who solved them.
