Zumwhere added to Webkinz World Magical Forest!

Thanks to fumble99 from our forum, we now know of yet another update to Webkinz World -- Zumwhere has been added to the Magical Forest!

In order to activate and use Zumwhere, you must enter a code from the new Kinz Klips that are hitting retailers this month.  Once you have activated Zumwhere, you may visit (we assume once per day, like the Charm Forest) and try to spot the Zums.  The more Kinz Klips codes you enter, the better your chances are for finding rare Zums and Zum prizes.

There are 6 different groups of Zums, each with 8 different Zums for a total of 48 Zums to spot: Bratty Zums, Giggly Zums, Lazy Zums, Peeking Zums, Tricky Zums, and Zippy Zums.

Each time you spot a Zum, you will be award with Zummies, a magical marble.  These marbles may have future significance in Webkinz World.

Once have you spotted all 48 Zums, you will be given a special "mystery gift"!

WI Members Activate Kinz Klips and Enter Zumwhere!

Thanks to EXOTERIC and jessicabarnhart for providing pictures and narrative for their first foray into Zumwhere! As expected, you can only search for Zums once per day, and each of the above users had a different experience in Zumwhere.
 
EXOTERIC snapped an obstructed picture of a Zum and had to take a "Zum Puzzler sliding block challenge" in order to receive her Zummies. jessicabarnhart, on the other hand, snapped a clear picture of a Zum and was awarded her 3 Zummies. Here is a collage of some the images from their first experience!

Ganz Reveals Pictures of New KinzKlips

When Ganz first announced that they was releasing a line of "KinzKlips" they showed us pictures of six Klips:  Monkey, Panda, Whimsy Dragon, Kangaroo, Penguin, and Chihuahua.  Thanks to some new advertisements running in Webkinz World, we now have pictures of two new Klips:  Dalmatian and Cocker Spaniel.  There is no word yet from Ganz on when these two new Klips might be available for sale.

New Prizes Added to Zumwhere, Time to Trade in Your Zummies

Those of you who have been collecting "Zummies" in the "Zumwhere" feature will be pleased to know that new Zum prizes have been added to Webkinz World.  You can now trade in your brightly colored Zummies for Zum-themed clothing, toys, decorations, and more.  To access the prizes you can either go to the Magical Forest to view the Zum Field Guide, or you can purchase a Zum Field Guide from the wShop.  This item can be found at the very end of the Toys & Books section.  (As of this morning, the cost of the book has been lowered from 1000 KC to just 250 KC.)

To trade in your Zummies for prizes, turn to "Zumthings Catalog" at the very end of the book.  Here you can see all of the prizes, their "cost" in Zummies, and how many Zummies you have collected.  Click "read more" below to see pictures taken from this section of the catalog.

Webkinz Insider Member Completes "Lazy Zums" Collection

Congratulations to Webkinz Insider member funkyc63 on finding all of the "Lazy Zums" in Zumwhere.  In exchange for her hard work, she was awarded a "Zum Crossing Sign" to place in her Webkinz' house.  funkyc63 also exchanged some of the Zummies she had been collecting for a "Field Hat" and a "Field Jacket".  The Hat and Jacket can be sent via KinzPost.  The Crossing Sign cannot.  
 
Since entering the code from her first Kinz Klip on April 1st, funkyc63 and her daughter have been tracking, taking pictures, and fully documenting their experiences in Zumwhere.  If you have any questions about Zumwhere, Zums, or Zummies, please check out her thread "I Caught ZUM-things!" located HERE.

Pet Specific Item Awarded as Prize in Zumwhere

According to Ganz, the more KinzKlip codes you have entered on your account, the better your odds of finding prizes in Zumwhere are.  They've said this for different features before, but it appears that this time they really meant it.  Thank you to Webkinz Insider member skatergirl80 for sharing a picture with us of her latest Zumwhere prize, the Bobbin' Robin Jukebox.  We have previously seen members receive Holiday and Trading Card prizes in Zumwhere, but this is the first time we've seen a Pet Specific Item be awarded as a prize.  
 
skatergirl80 reports that, based on her own experience, you only get Zum-food until you have about 10 KinzKlip codes entered on your account.  On the account where she received the PSI, she has 12 KinzKlip codes entered.  At this point we are not certain if this is the way Ganz intends for the feature to work, or if this is just a glitch.  Either way, congratulations to skatergirl80 on receiving such a great prize.

Congratulations to Webkinz Insider member choover on finding all of the "Giggly Zums" in Zumwhere.  As a reward for her persistance, she was given a complete Zum Outfit consisting of a Zum Hat, Zum Body, and Zum Feet.  Just like the Zum Crossing Sign that was unlocked by a WI member last week (story HERE), the Zum outfit parts cannot be traded or sent via KinzPost.

Congratulations to Webkinz Insider memeber elefancy on finding all of the "Peeking Zums" in Zumwhere.  elefancy unlocked the Peeking Zum prize box and was awarded a Zum Trophy.  Just like the other Zum prize box items discovered so far (Zum Outfit, Zum Crossing Sign), this trophy cannot be traded or sent via KinzPost.

Ganz announces NEW Kinz Klips to arrive in July

This afternoon, at the Webkinz Newz site, Michaelgorab caught this Front apge announcement. It looks like we will be getting MORE wonderful klips to add to our collections.  Announced to be released are Cocker Spaniel, Dalmation, Toco Toucan, Dolphin, mouse and Cocoa Dinosaur.
 
When Kinz Klips are registered, you receive 500 KC and increased chances of finding items in Zumwhere.
