Adventure Park

Hot off the Press!  Robert from Ameriwade (www.ameriwade.com) spoke with his Sales Representative from Ganz moments ago to find answers to the questions all of you have been asking about the new Adventure Park feature Ganz announced earlier this morning.

 

According to the Rep, the six Adventure Park pets will come with a single tag.  When the code from this tag is entered in the Adoption Center, a virtual version of the pet will be activated in Webkinz World AND the player will gain access to the Adventure Park.  Pets that do not have the specially-marked Adoption Tag will NOT give players access to the park.

Ever since Ganz announced that they would be adding a new feature called Adventure Park to Webkinz World, players have been hungry for details.  Thanks to one observant member of Webkinz Insider, we can now tell you what all of the pet quests will be!  

 

ipodpanda was looking through the pet catalog when she discovered the descriptions.  It appears that each pet will have a specific quest and a specific grand prize.

UPDATE:  The information in the Webkinz Catalog has been corrected to show that the quest for the Chimpanzee is the Deep Water Dilemma and not the Beanstalk Birthday.  Now, each pet has a specific quest, as originally advertised.

Ganz has been dropping hits all day today about something special that is going to happen tomorrow (Wednesday).  It appears that the long-awaited Adventure Park is finally coming to Webkinz World!   In order to get into the Park, players need to adopt one of the six Adventure Park pets:  Pink Pony, Koala, Spotted Frog, Chimpanzee, Spotted Leopard, or Mud Hippo.  Each pet has a very specific quest to go on and they can each earn some fantastic prizes!  

 

 

 

Since the launch of the Adventure Park on Wednesday, many Webkinz players have been trying to figure out exactly how this new feature works.  On Thursday afternoon, Ganz released the following official statement to respond to the questions they have been receiving from their customers.

 

"Hi everyone!  We’d like to clarify a few things regarding the new area of Webkinz World, Adventure Park.  The “Quick Quests” (Daily Quests) are being released in 2 weeks on August 31st, 2011. At that point you’ll be able to come back every day and play new quests.  When you send out Mini-Quests within Adventure Park there’s a message that states you’re able to come back daily to send more. This message is currently incorrect.  When you adopt an Adventure Park Series Pet, you get one Mini-Quest to send to another Webkinz player with an Adventure Park Series Pet (we call this an Adventure Friend).  When your Adventure Friend completes the Mini-Quest, you’ll both receive a prize.  As it is stated in the Adventure Park, if you decided to claim your prize within a quest, you won’t be able to come back to use any extra digs. If anyone sends you a Mini-Quest, you’ll be able to use your extra digs.  When the “Quick Quests” are released (August 31st, 2011), you’ll be able to use your extra digs if you have already completed the Pet Specific Quests.  We apologize for the inconvenience and confusion."
