Webkinz Hosts Post Cards and Gifts to Senders

Since discovering yesterday that we can add the hosts a few people have been diligently sending letters and gifts to them.
Now they have seen a return of letters as well as small items from the hosts of Webkinz World.
 
After sending 8 letters, you receive a Pen Pal Badge.
Thank you to Webkinz Insider Member Jenn, we can see what some of the gifts are. So far she has gotten letters back from some of the hosts and three gifts were included.

Webkinz Insider Member Solves Spiny Sporcues Recipe

webkinz cheatsThe Spiny Sporcues recipe first introduced in Novemver 2009 has been finally solved. Say Congrats to fumble99 on figuring this one out.
 
The ingredients are as follows: Almonds, Coconut and Kiwi on the Stove.
 
This was one of the oldest and most frustrating recipes for our Webkinz chefs. Thanks to monkeecj for these statistics showing how dedicated their team was to finding the solution for this elusive recipe! Amazing!
 
After seeing conflicting sources, I believe there are 97 ingredients in the W Shop and 98 foods to use including cabbage. This means that our complete elimination of possibilities in the sandwich maker (for Spiny Sporcues) consisted of 152,096 separate combinations.

To put this into perspective, if one person attempted to achieve this feat and tried 100 combinations of three ingredients every day, it would take over 4 years to complete the elimination.

Also, with the average cost of a combination minus the amount received for selling the blech back, this many combinations cost about 2,079,168 KinzCash.

Webkinz Insider Members Wonder, What's up with PJ? *UPDATE*

webkinz cheatsMany of you Rare Clothing collectors are starting to wonder if something has happened to PJ, the owner of the KinzStyle Outlet.  For some reason, she hasn't offered any Rare Clothing items recently.  According to our PJ Trackers (located here), the last time PJ had a special item for sale was back on Sunday, July 3rd, one week ago.
 
PJ typically has one Rare item of clothing for sale each day, but sometimes she'll skip a day or two.  There have only been a few times in the history of the KinzStyle Outlet where she has gone longer than three days, causing many players to wonder if this is a programming glitch.  Hopefully PJ will have something good for sale soon.

Calling All Insiders! $10,000 Insider Giveaway, We Need Your Help! *UPDATE

First off, no, that isn't a typo, we're actually talking about $10,000! Over the weekend, we were contacted by a marketing representative for a new website called Bublaa that launched a few weeks ago. Part of their launch campaign is a contest for $10,000! The marketing representative felt that our huge userbase could easily help the Insider family win the grand prize.
 
NOTE: Bublaa is a social-networking site and you are required to be at least 13 years old in order to join the site. If you're younger than 13 and still want to help, please have an older sibling or your parents sign up and help out! All members of the Insider sites, regardless of age, will be eligible for prizes, however.
 
 
The contest started 3 weeks ago and ends TODAY, July 15th at 10am PDT (1 PM US Kinz Time/Eastern Time). Thankfully, we were able to take the lead today due to overwhelming support from all of our forum members! With all of our Insider sites combined, with nearly 200,000 members between them, I believe we can overtake them and win the contest! We have lost the lead a number of times and we need your help to stay ahead!
 
If we win, we will take all $10,000 of the prize and use it for prizes for all of our members. With this kind of huge prize budget, anything goes! Once we receive the winnings, we will ask all of you what prizes you'd like to see and how you want us to award them. You can reach for the sky, and suggest we buy Cheeky Dogs, Cheeky Cats, even non-Webkinz-related items, like an Apple iPad 2!
 
This is only possible with your help, and we need each and every one of you! I've gone through the site and have provided full instructions on how to remove any publicly-viewable personal information from your profiles as soon as you join the site. Once you've followed those steps, join our "Bubble" and tell all of your friends to help out! Please don't create multiple/fake accounts, it could get us disqualified. Asking family members in your household to help out is a-okay!
 
UPDATE (1:05pm ET):  The contest ended a few minutes ago, and it appears that the Insider Bubble has won!  We have the highest number of users and we are currently waiting for verification from Bublaa.  Thank you to everyone for all of your help!  We can't wait to start selecting and awarding some very special prizes!
 
UPDATE (2:05pm ET):  Bublaa posted the following announcement, "Congratulations [on] the good race! We are going to be validating the result and will announce the winner during the next week."
 
UPDATE (July 21):  Bublaa has confirmed that the Insiders bubble has won!  Justin has been in contact with the founder of Bublaa and is making arrangements to collect the money.  As soon he has the funds, we can begin planning a fantastic giveaway for all of our Insider members.  We can't wait!

Visit every day between July 21 and August 3 to discover what CampKinz prize you’ll receive.  Each day you will search 5 times for the Peek-A-Newz image which will be assigned to you for the day when you press the big entry button on the main page.   Once you the image 5 times you will receive a piece of the second half of the CampKinz theme or a special Webkinz Newz prize: Letters from Camp!.
