Mazin' Hamsters

 Ganz has announced a new feature in Mazin' Hamsters called Hamster Hamlet. This new feature will allow your Hamsters to play freely in a huge open world. Explore freely or try a challenge and earn Mazin' Moolah.

Ganz has added a new maze set to the Mazin' Hamster area called Tricky Treasure.  This set is made up of six mazes:  three easy, two medium, and one hard.  Players completing all of the mazes in this set will be rewarded with a Tricky Treasure Trophy.

Ganz has also made some cosmetic changes to the Hamster Hamlet.  

 

You can now see the value of a coin before running through it with your Hamster.

 

 

During a brief maintenance this morning, a new feature was added to the Mazin' Hamster area.  It's called the "Key Craze" and it can be found in the Hamster Hamlet.  In this Daily Activity, players hunt around the Hamlet for glowing keys.  Each time a key is found, the player takes it back to a treasure chest in the middle of the hamlet (a red arrow shows the way).  If the key doesn't fit, the player looks for another key.  If the key does fit, the player is awarded a fantastic prize.  Hurry, this is a timed event.  Shown above is Zap's Plasma Ball.  

 

 

UPDATE:  Based on member reports, there appears to be a problem with the Snowflake's Snowglobe prize.  For some reason, this prize is NOT appearing in player docks.  Members have had to contact Ganz directly to have the prize manually added to their accounts.  

 

According to the most recent post on Webkinz Newz, the Ganz eStore is offering FREE Chili Mazin' Hamster to anyone who purchases an Annual Deluxe Membership between December 1st, 2010 and December 30th, 2010!

 

This hamster is not available any other way at this time, though it does show a price of 8000 eStore points for regular customers and 7000 for current Deluxe holders.
