We have been receiving scattered reports that there is a problem with the programming of the new Webkinz Orca Whale. Anyone who has adopted an Orca Whale on their account, and who does not have any other underwater Webkinz on that account, does not have the option to purchase an underwater room. We wanted to let those of you who have this problem know you are not alone. A number of our members have already reported this problem to Ganz and we hope this issue will be corrected quickly. Also, we have been getting reports from Triggerfish owners that the Triggerfish's Pet Specific Item, the Bubble Blue Bathtub, still cannot be Traded or sent via KinzPost. Hopefully this problem will also be corrected soon.

We also have one correction to an earlier story to tell you about. The Lil Kinz Lamb is not one of the December releases, as was reported to us by Ganz. Instead, it is scheduled for release just before Easter, along with the Webkinz Lamb, Webkinz Cotton Candy Bunny, and the re-release of the Webkinz Duck.
Surprise Saturday is here. Today there are two charm codes for sale, Chihuahua and Magic W, one online only Webkinz, Bubblegumasaurus, and two online exclusives, Alchemist's Stove and Aquamarine Butterfly Tree. The Aquamarine Butterfly Tree was last sold on October 4th, and the Alchemist's stove was last sold on October 19th.
For those of you out there who have been spending your time on Vacation Island with your Webkinz crammed into a tiny submarine, trying to get past Green Octopi, Purple Fish, Red Coral, and more, there is fantastic news. It turns out that the release of the Kinz Clothes Shirts was closer than all of us relased. Today one of our moderators was able to purchase several T-Shirts at her local store in Canada, Teddy 'N' Me. Unfortunately, we are unable to show you the costumes that come with the shirts' feature codes because, just like with the new carriers, the codes do not work. Apparently the programming for these items has not yet been updated in Webkinz World. So far the only confirmed costume is the Nefertiti outfit from the eStore mix-up.
We do, however, have some interesting news to report regarding the release of the Shirts. Like most companies, Ganz makes it's products available to it's retailers based on the stores' sale volumes. Stores that sell a lot of product, get the new items first. Smaller stores get the new items much later, if there is any inventory left. In the case of the Kinz Clothes Shirts, a very limited amount has been produced, so at this point only the top level of stores with the highest sale volumes has even been able to order the shirts. The bottom line is that the shirts are going to be in very limited supply and may be difficult to find.
For those of you lucky enough to find a store with the shirts available, please take a look at the size chart below before you hand over your cash. Although the shirts are sized from Small to Extra Large, these appear to be "Juniors" sizes. Petite adults may be able to fit into the larger sizes, and small children will be able to wear them baggy, but clearly this clothing was designed for teens.
It appears that the Customer Service representatives have been awarding the whole outfit to many of our members, so for those who received only the headdress when they called initially, please call Ganz back and they will award you the Robe as well! In addition, it appears that they were misinformed about the origin of these items.

Here are the facts:
Only purchases made between Oct. 25 and Oct 28, when the costume shown in the eStore was incorrect, are eligible to receive the new outfit.
Proof of purchase during these dates is required.
The headdress and robe are awarded to anyone we speak to who meets the requirement.
Nefertiti’s Robe and Headdress is one of the outfits that can be chosen from the KinzClothes feature code. It is not being released later next year.
While you are suggesting otherwise, our Customer Service is being very accommodating for those who meet these requirements.

You may remember that the Headdress was incorrectly displayed on the listing for the eStore Pharoah Costume last week. Not happy with the Pharoah Headdress that they received, many members contacted Ganz and were able to get the Nefertiti's Headdress added to their accounts. Although we have been receiving scattered reports of members having trouble getting the Ganz Reps to give them anything at all, it appears at least some Reps have been more than generous, giving out both the Headdress and the Robe.
According to her conversation with the Rep, mathomom2 says the Nefertiti costume is schduled to be released "late next year" and that it is one of the items that will be offered with the new clothing line Ganz is introducing.
