Members Confused on the Member of the Day

Members on the forum are confused by the latest member of the day...
 
As most of you know, the "Mutt" is the pet on Webkinz Demo accounts.  Demo accounts are available to people living outside of the United States and Canada, and are valid for less than 24 hours per trial.  At this point we are not certain why a player with just a Demo Account was selected as member of the day.  We don't know if this account was awarded the super rare "Member of the Day Trophy."

Maybe it is like how a member spotted a domestic cat in the clubhouse (I think they will make the domestic cat a demo pet, too.) Probably just a graphics glitch...

That doesn't seem very fair!!!! If it is just a demo, then they shouldn't be able to get a trophy!

Whatever it is, it is absolutely adorable!! What's a demo?? Domestic cat and the Mutt are the most cutest Webkinz in my opinion!! Anywho hopefully we'll figure it out.

I don't think they are just demos. I have traded several times with mutts in the trading room and they have been able to trade, and trade good items. When you go on the demo you can't trade! This leads me to believe they must be available somehow (but how?). Maybe Ganz to employees? I'm in Europe and they aren't available at the e-store (although I can now get a pet of the month code and other pets!)

i think they probably just messed up.
it would be dumb for a demo account to get the trophy because they go away in 24 hours lol

I have also seen this mutt dog in trading rooms. Very strange. Oh well.

when i travled to china i couldn't access my ww account, but i can go to the website. there was no demo account available!

and if you were chosen member of the day but didnt check the my page, would you still be notified as member of the day?

it says this account has been a member since June 21,2009. so is this a clue that a mutt is coming?? or is it just a big glitch or what?!?!!?

It always amazes me how much information WI members have. I love reading your notes and insights. Keep up the chats! I would love to be granted Member of the Day. Wishful thinking. Congrats to whoever has had it.

I know! Also, mutts are automticly named Patches, you have no choice. Plus look at this:Click the image to open in full size.It claims she has been a member since JUNE!!!!!!! Wassup with that??

I have also noticed that some of the people that are choosen for pet of the day are not even on anymore. I look at there page and it would state that they have been a member since 2007 and they only have one pet on the account. Which would mean that their account would of been expired.
