Congratulations to Webkinz Insider member, PoliceProperty for adopting the new Baby Penguin to their account.
 
Pictured here is Puddles with her new playpen. The baby penguin is a December release pet, it's Pet special Item is a  Polar playpen that is actually a bed to sleep in and the Baby Penguin's pet special food is Salt Water slushy, it looks like a sippy cup.

New Virtual Christmas Ornaments Coming Soon to Ganz eStore

Ganz has announced that they will be releasing a new line of Christmas ornaments for 2009.  This year's series of ornaments will be virtual-only and will only be for sale at the Ganz eStore (www.ganzestore.com).  There will be 25 ornaments total, and each ornament code will unlock decorations that can be used to customize a special Christmas Tree.  Players entering the codes from all 25 ornaments will receive a "special surprise".

Ganz has announced that a Webkinz Ginger Cat will be joining the Portuguese Water Dog and Triceratops in Webkinz World in January 2010.

Portuguese Water Dog Coming soon to Webkinz World.*UPDATED*

Webkinz News has announced another new pet release for January of 2010. This is the Portuguese Water Dog. The Portuguese Waterdog's Pets specific item is a Heated Hound Hot Tub, it's food is Barkalhau.

Webkinz Insider Member solves Puzzellapies Recipe.

Congratulations to Webkinz Insider member, Grandmajo2 for solving the recipe for Puzzellapies. Unfortunately, she was not awarded the trophy for this solution so it is possible that someone else may have already solved this recipe. The solution is Pizza, eggs and fishsticks using the Sandwich maker.
 
We have three outstanding recipes from the last introduction of recipes to solve and one older recipe to find the solution to. Rhomblintzes, Spiny Sporcues and Shellbelow from the November 12th's addition and Tusselpuff from April's addition.
 
Webkinz News has announced that both Spiny Sporcues and Tusselpuff have been solved, but no recipe solution was given. These two will not award a trophy.

Creative Director Reveals Truth about Bowling Trophy

When the Creative Director of Webkinz was reviewing the questions for the recent Ask the Creative Director contest, he came across one question in particular that he thought was strange.  It was a question about "10 Bowling Trophies being awarded back in 2005."
 
In an exclusive message sent to Webkinz Insider, the Creative Director revealed that the reason he thought this question was strange was because Ganz has "never released the bowling trophy.  It doesn't exist on any Webkinz [player's] account."  He also said that "the only place the bowling trophy exists is in the Bowling Alley clubhouse room."
 
At this point, we are not certain how this rumor about the Bowling Trophies being awarded as prizes got started, but we are pleased the Creative Director took the time to contact Webkinz Insider to clear things up.  He also let us know that the KinzPinz Bowling Alley made its debut in 2006, not 2005, and that there had been plans to release a bowling trophy at some point, "but that the idea fell through."
