BREAKING NEWS: Trade Room Reopened in Webkinz World Print E-mail

Before the introduction of the Trade Room, members negotiating trades in the Clubhouse had to worry whether or not the other person would send their items.  The brand new Trade Tables, which allow both members to send at the exact same time, have taken care of that problem.

Unfortunately, there is no safeguard in place to make sure that the trade you are making is a fair trade.  Several of our moderators have spent the morning testing out the Trade Rooms and have discovered an alarming pattern of traders offering food and small W-Shop items in exchange for valuable rare items. 

The message we would like to send to all of our readers is this:  If you wish to try out the WW Trade Room, start trading with items that you can easily replace rather than your best treasures. This room is not designed as a place to score the rarest retired WW item.  It is a place to make WW friends and have fun swapping little items.

If you have a question about the value of your items, please check out our Webkinz Insider Gift Exchange Value Guide, located here:  http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/official-webkinz-insider-t141017.html .  Remember, if you feel uncomfortable with the trade or feel that the other trader is being unfair, you do NOT need to trade and can back out at any time.

Also, please keep in mind that Trade Discussion on Webkinz Insider is ONLY allowed inside of the Gift Exchange area.  Trades made in the WW Trade Room, should be negotiated in WW Trade Room.  If you wish to discuss trades on Webkinz Insider, please consider joining our Gift Exchange.

Ok, the picture that they showed us was 100% cheap. I mean trading a super bed, maple sweater from the fall fest, and a golf cart for just 1 small useless coupon, well, I think that is a very pointless trade, hope the person with all the exclusive items said no to this trade, I would!

Just thought i'd say what im feeling...
I don't see the trading room either...ganz should really kinda get their act together and when they announce something new in webkinz world they should make sure it works...i mean look at the clubhouse plus area...ganz took that away and its been how long since they said it should only take a couple of days? the only thing thats happened about that is now you cant name your pets room after most of your pets because they changed the word filtering system to accomadate the clubhouse better...Maybe its just me but it seems like ganz is really going downhill with time...

Webkinz Trading Room
I cannot believe they only have 5 rooms 4 zones and 10 people per room! It takes like 5 minutes for that Webkinz Standium to get filled up but they don't add any more rooms!

Trading Room
In order to get into the trading room, I had to switch to the orange zone (trading rooms in all the other ones were full). I have had people ask for exclusive items when they only offered W-Shop items. Always watch what you are sending and be careful if you are sending large items (which I wouldn't, especially if the other person is only offering small items).

fun while it lasted....
I was excited to get in the trading room this morning. I made some great trades, but somebody tried to do something REALLY SNEAKY to me. I had trophy they liked, and they put an exclusive item up in exchange. They also offered a couple foods in addition. As we were about to trade, they removed the exclusive. They were hoping I didn't notice, and that I'd take their 2 foods for a trophy! Luckily, I didn't take the bait.

clear your cache
you have to clear your close WW clear your cache and then log back in and you will see it.

No Trade Room!
ive been a member here on wi for a while, every time you announce that its open i can never see it! its no where! i cant believe the trade room! ive never even seen it! Ganz you should fix that!

Clearing history files
I couldn't see the trading room but when I cleared my temporary internet files and logged on again, I could see it.

In IE go to
>tools > Internet Options
and choose the "General" tab,
look for the heading "Temporary Internet Files" and click delete "Delete Files".

Click "ok" and then log onto webkinz and go to the clubhouse.

If you go on the orange zone on your webkinz world cell phone, there will be 75 trading rooms available!!! In this zone, you will always be able to get into the trading room trust me, I've gone on nonstop all day!!! Go ahead thank me!!!
