Last night's maintenance brought some long awaited changes to Webkinz World. First off, the highly anticipated POTM Cloud Machine available is now available according to the W Shop! Those of you who have been hanging on to those cows to get this item can now adopt them. Here is a picture of the Cloud Machine in action:
Legalcat, a member of our forum, is also reporting that her $500 bonus and one month account extension from Ganz have arrived on all of her accounts. Other members have also confirmed this information. We aren't sure if everybody will get their Ganz 'bonuses' at the same time, or if they will be given out over a specific time period, so please do not get concerned if you haven't seen yours yet.

Today was Mardi Gras, the final day of Carnival. Even though Webkinz
World doesn’t have an official celebration, many Webkinz enjoyed the
holiday.
“It’s
not easy,” Patrice the pink pony admitted, “but the key is to be
creative. My krewe made my float by strapping a bunch of ‘Dogbeard’s
best side tables’ to skateboards. Instead of beads and doubloons, I
threw out charm candy and bunny clowns.”

route dressed in costume. Few things are more entertaining than seeing
a frog dressed up as a lion, except maybe a google dressed as an
elephant. As expected, lots of chipmunks and bees turned out, but there
were plenty of Kinzstyle outfits, too, especially angels, ballerinas,
pumpkins, and witches.
Kinzstyle was also on the mind of a duck
named Quackers. She couldn’t decide whether to wear a glittering silver
dress or rose party dress to Persephone’s Mardi Gras ball. “It’s always
nerve-wracking to decide what to wear,” she admitted, “especially when
Persephone herself will be there. And I hear Chef Gazpacho is the
caterer, so we know the food will be good.”
Today, February 1st, is the final day of Winter Fest. The snowflakes are scheduled to stop falling at exactly 11:59pm this evening. It'll be a whole 12 months before we can hope to see snowflakes in Webkinz World again, so enjoy the final day. Hopefully it will hold us over until the next "Fest" event Ganz decides to spring on us!
Now, for those of you holding unregistered Cows, Winterfest may be the last thing on your minds. That's because February is the Month of the Cow. That is to say, the Cow is the Pet of the Month for February. Remember, when you register a POTM during it's special month, you get a gift box containing a POTM exclusive item and you get to participate in special POTM Only activities. Members who already have Cows on their accounts are also able to participate in the special activities, they just won't recieve the POTM exclusive item.
Earlier today we reported that one of the members in our forum, timelord63, had adopted the brand new Webkinz Kangaroo. Now we can report that he has also adopted the brand new Webkinz Pink and White Cat.
