As a follow-up to yesterday's announcement about the Orioles' Lil' Kinz Giveaway at Camden Yards, the Orioles have agreed to provide us with two of the Lil' Kinz Black labs with the collectible bandana as giveaways on WI!
We're going to run two contests: an art contest and a trivia contest! They've provided us with a picture of the little guy (or girl) wearing the bandana!
The art contest is as follows: Draw a picture of what you think an Oriole Webkinz would look like, along with their PSI (Pet Special Item) and PSF (Pet Special Food). We will select a random winner from all the entries in one week, on Friday, August 22st. Congratulations to kayembee, a member of our forum, on her purchase of a Webkinz Pink & White Dog. This Webkinz has not yet been announced by Ganz, and the discovery of the plushie being for sale in a store is a complete surprise. We all wonder what he'll look like in Webkinz World, but kayembeehas decided to call Ganz first before attempting to adopt the Dog to make sure it won't create an error on her account.
Nevertheless, she posted pictures of the plushie for all of us to see! You can see the Pink & White Dog on the left and a close up of the tag on the right, proving that it is indeed an Authentic new, unannouncedWebkinz!!!
Congratulations to Tamster, a member of our forum, and to her son, Matt, for completing the Trading Card Series 3 Puzzle. The Series 3 Trading Cards have a new feature that was not included in the previous two series. The backs of some of the cards have pieces of a puzzle on them. The size of the completed puzzle is 21 inches tall by 15 1/2 inches wide, or 36 cards.
All of the animals in the picture are identifiable as either Webkinz, or Webkinz World characters with one exception. The red bird in the top, right corner has not been seen in Webkinz World before. Many of our members believe that it is a Cardinal. Could this be an as yet unannounced Webkinz we will see in the future? Only time will tell. The Baltimore Orioles will host a special WEBKINZ GIVEAWAY PROMOTION at Oriole Park at Camden Yards on Tuesday, August 26.
The first 10,000 fans 14 and under that enter the park will receive an exclusive WEBKINZ LIL’KINZ BLACK LAB, courtesy of the Mid-Atlantic Sports Network (MASN). The Lil' Kinz Black Lab also features a collectible Orioles/MASN bandana available only through this promotion.

We have been getting scattered reports of more and more members being able to access the Clubhouse. Some are able to get into regular KinzChat, others are able to get into KinzChat PLUS, but most get stuck on a blank blue screen. Those who are able to get in are reporting widespread glitches and lag time. It appears the programmers at Ganz are still working on this feature to get it ready for the rest of Webkinz World.
Reports from inside the Clubhouse indicate that, at least on the surface, KinzChat PLUS appears very much like it did when it originally debuted last year. Members may type out messages using their keyboards, but only preapproved words are allowed. A "Report Button" can be used to notify Ganz of any inappropriate discussion. Some members have reported having statements from Ganz flash on the screen in response to discussion in the room. This seems to indicate Ganz employees are actively monitoring activity in KinzChat PLUS. This may be the reason why KinzChat PLUS is only available from 9:00am to 5:00pm KT.
