NEWS: Clubhouse Closed & WI Exclusive from Creative Director

When it was revealed that the KinzChat PLUS section of the Clubhouse was only going to be open from 9am to 5pm, presumably so Ganz employees could keep an active watch over it, it was expected that the PLUS section would be closed over the weekend.  What was not expected however, was that the entire Clubhouse would be closed.  We don't yet know if this is a permanent change, or if it is something only for this weekend, but all Webkinz World members, regardless of whether or not they could get into the Clubhouse last week, are all getting the same message. Webkinz Insider hasreceived an exclusive statement from the Creative Director of Webkinz regarding the changes made to KinzChat PLUS:     Quote: Saw your note about KinzChat PLUS. The two key improvements are simpler reporting with the ability to indicate which user is being the problem, and phrase filtering. Phrase filtering prevents people from using improper phrases with innocent words, something our old system couldn’t deal with. We’ve also improved both the parental permission and KinzChat PLUS blocking in the Parent’s Area. To reduce the chance for lag, we recommend moving to a less active channel (i.e. something other than Blue). I can see why they closed KinzChat PLUS, because they are obviously keeping an active monitor on it. But to close regular KinzChat as well is unfair.
