BREAKING NEWS: Online Pets for Sale at the Webkinz eStore Print E-mail

For the first time ever, Ganz is selling online-only versions of select Webkinz at the Webkinz eStore. The sale of these animals is limited to people living outside of the United States and Canada. Customers purchasing these Webkinz will receive a code to enter into the adoption center, but will NOT receive a plushie pet.

The animals currently available are the White Poodle, Tree Frog, Bulldog, and Black & White Cat, all of which are available for sale at retailers both in the United States and Canada as a plushie with a code tag.

Why in the world would you pay 12.50 in real money for only a virtual pet when
you can get a real plushie and the virtual for the same amount in most places?
It's just a waste of money. To pay real money for something virtual doesn't make

The reason why it is basically the same price is because they are only available
outside of the USA and Canada, where they don't sell Webkinz Plushies! So that
almost all the world has access to our beloved Webkinz World, it is actually a

Why would you only put Webkinz pets online without the plushie? One of the
reasons I like webkinz is because of the plushies. I would be very unhappy if
they sold webkinz that don't already have a plushie. If you think the same,
leave a comment after mine.

I agre, I would not buy the virtual without the plushie. I love the plushies!
Besides, sometimes the plush is cuter than the virtual! :zzz :upset
