BREAKING NEWS: Ganz Announces More Retirements

Four more Webkinz have been officially retired by Ganz: Floppy Pig (HM184), Fantail Goldfish (HM218), Cocoa Dinosaur (HM338), and Sheep (HM227). It is worth noting that the Floppy Pig and the Sheep have not yet been seen in Webkinz World as they are not scheduled for release until next month. Just like with the other early retirements, it will still be possible to find these Webkinz in stores for a short time.

I know why they are retiring them so early! It is because they know that if you
see one you really want that is going to retire, than you are going to buy it,
just like you would've anyway, but with a new twist, you know that you are one
of the few that got the last ones! Like when I got my Whimsy dragon, and found
out it was discontinued, at first I was like, hey thats not fair for everyone
else. But as owners of Whimsy's now know, when you look at the plushie of them,
you remeber you are one of those very lucky few that got em! It is actually a
great idea by Ganz! Reply if you agree!!! :zzz

this is so dume.like I just got a Spotted Lepred 2 days ago becaz peeps always
want them fist, but now when the pig and sheep come out i will probly never get
them caz there retied! when thier retied alreddy they go to the store as fast as
they can to get them

can see that Ganz is obviously trying to make Webkinz more collectible, but why
do they have to retire Webkinz that aren't even out? :cry We never have a good
chance to get them that way! :upset

I do agree with your theory-Ganz is obviously just trying to make Webkinz more
collectible-but I do NOT think it is a good idea. When they retire pets that
haven't even come out yet over and over again, people realize that and they
expect it every time. Like the person in another comment said, it will get to
the point where people don't even care about new Webkinz coming out, because
they know that Ganz will just retire all of them. So, this was a pretty bad
decision on Ganz's part (among many others). See what I'm saying? :?

and buy them because they know Ganz will just retire the Webkinz before they

You know what. You are right. When i look at my whimsy i think wow this is a
cool webkinz.
Plus i found a store that sells webkinz for 10$
and retired ones
like full size unicorn 50$ pegasus
40$ whimsy dragon 50$ grey cat and yellow
cat 15$.

I sooo agree with you, I love for my brother that they are retiring the dinosaur
he just got it and now he loves it becuase its special, they need to retire the
manatee though not the goldfish, i have the manatee and know that people are
liking the manatee more, if they retire it it would be VERY special!

I wasnt
crazy about the floppy eared pig or sheep anyway! they were ok but they werent
on my top 10 to get list, I WANT THE DOLPHIN

You said it correct. Ganz is retiring Webkinz Pets early so you think you'll
have to buy them ASAP. But, as long as the Gorilla has been retired, they're
still shipping it. So, when they need more profit, they retire the new pets.

ugh! come on the floppy pig and sheep aren't out yet and this stie is not
affiliated with Ganz or Webkinz so how can it be true if webkinzinsider dosen't
know what webkinz is going to retried. It dosen't say on webkinz that they are
retried. Webkinz is going to lose bunnies ( don't know how to spell it) if they
keep retring webkinz that are not out yet or just came out this month.
