For the past 3 days, ever since the Lil' Kinz Pig became the Pet of the Month, wish tokens have been added to the Pet of the Month loot bags. Ganz has been very secretive about these wish tokens and no one really knows what they're for. While we all know that we must wait for confirmation on what they might do, speculation abounds all over our forum. Some believe that the coins will be used for an upcoming E-Store in Webkinz World. Others think that they will count as extra wishes on the Wishing Well 2. Still others think that the coins will allow you to pick an exclusive item of your choice. Either way, it's a very mysterious prize that has all of us wondering... What do you think they are for?
UPDATE: I've just received
notification from Ganz that we'll all find out what the Wish Tokens do
on Wednesday or Thursday of this week! In addition, they also told me
that there will be more ways to get the Wish Tokens, and not just with
the Pet of the Month!
Looking over the Webkinz site, I noticed a new bulletin at the bottom. Ganz is taking applications for parents and children to participate in a focus group for a short session between March 10th and March 14th!
For those parents out there with children between 2 1/2 and 6 years old, and live near Woodbridge, Ontario, Canada, this is your chance to help the Webkinz community by voicing your own concerns and praises! Two of our Webkinz forum users, momma501 and yummee2, have provided pictures of their activation of the new Zingoz in Webkinz World! The code for the Zingoz must be entered into the Code Shop and activates an exclusive game: Wacky Zingoz Extreme! Also of note, if you activate a second Zingoz, the code shop awards you 1500 Kinz Cash.
The new game is very similar to the regular Wacky Zingoz game that we have all played many times, except you now have a choice of 3 different clubs and can hit the Zingoz twice!!
A brand-new member to our Webkinz Forum, Breezmom, stumbled upon some very interesting search results on Barnes & Noble's website, when searching for Webkinz. She reports that her first search turned up the regular Webkinz that we know are current or upcoming. She changed some of the criteria and came up with another search, which you can try by clicking here.
This new search shows some Webkinz that no one has ever heard of before. Knowing that Barnes & Noble is a reputable retailer, I provided this information to Ganz and they've confirmed that the information is accurate! So, here's a sneak peek of the pets that are coming to Webkinz World in May & June!! Unfortunately, we don't have pictures, but I'm sure that you can all come up with an idea of what they might look like!
Last night, a member of our Webkinz forum, KinzGirl99, got her hands on a Webkinz Brown Dog and activated it and posted pictures for all of us to see. Here is a picture of "Cocoa Bean" standing on his Pet Specific Item the Patchwork Sofa.

From the March releases, we've still yet to see an activated Webkinz Tiger Snake, as they still aren't currently working. Yummee2 asked that we pass on information from Ganz technical support to those of you who have purchased the Tiger Snake: Wait until mid next week before activating it, or you may have trouble accessing your account until they add the Tiger Snake to Webkinz World!
One of the members in our forum, yummee2, was the first WI member to get their hands on the newest pets in Webkinz World. She was able to pick up the Webkinz Brown Dog, Webkinz Bengal Tiger, Webkinz Tiger Snake and the new Zingoz at a local store in Canada! She reports that the Webkinz Tiger Snake stretches out to 40 inches long!! The only Webkinz that would work for activation in her account was the Webkinz Bengal Tiger, shown below. Congratulations!!
One of the members in our forum, ladyfire1107, has reported that her daughter has received the Blast Off Rocket Bed, which is nowhere to be found in the W Shop, whether in the furniture section or the Super Bed section!
We're assuming at this point that this is a yet-to-be-released new Superbed that Ganz has created! For those wondering, her Trading Card 2 Space Shuttle went missing, so when she told Ganz that it had gone missing, she described it as a "Rocket" and this is what the technical support representative replaced it with! Congratulations on this super-rare item!!
