New WebkinzInsider member, jacquiekinz, invited a WI Staff Member over to take screen shots of her daughter's pink charm forest crystal! This is the first time a member here has reported owning this particular item!
According to jacquiekinz, she received this item in a trade from someone who was not sure how they had gotten it. We had all assumed that this was just another item that did not actually exist outside of the Webkinz World previews for the Charm Forest.
Is this an item that may be available in the Charm Forest at some point in the future? Or is this an item as rare as contest trophies and only a handful of Webkinz World users will ever possess one? Only time will tell...In the meantime, congratulations to jacquiekinz on her awesome find!

The staff at WebkinzInsider.Com has just confirmed the Holiday Seasonal Webkinz that are to come out at the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009 with our sponsoring retailer, Alicescuriosities.Com!
While many of us expected that the Halloween & Christmas seasonal Webkinz would be the Webkinz Black Cat and Webkinz Reindeer again this year, it appears that this is not the case!
As you all may remember, in our interview with the Webkinz Creative Director, he gave us a hint about a flying Webkinz.... The seasonal Webkinz for Halloween 2008 is going to be a Webkinz Bat!!
With a strange departure from all Webkinz being animals, the Christmas 2008 seasonal Webkinz is going to be a Webkinz Snowman!!
Finally, the ever-popular Valentine's Day Webkinz is going to be a Valentine's Monkey in 2009!! We aren't sure if it is going to be a "Love Monkey", but with the Love Puppy and Love Frog in the past, we expect Ganz to keep up the tradition.
We're also sure that speculation will arise that the Reindeer and Black Cat may actually end up becoming retired Webkinz, like the surprising announcement of the Love Puppy and Sherbet Bunny retirements just one week ago.
One of our staff members, cynalot, signed two of her children up for the March Break focus group and while she was there had an opportunity to meet and discuss a few things with the Creative Director of Webkinz.
While her children taking part in the 20 minute session, cynalot chatted to the coordinator and mentioned that she was an active member of a fansite for Webkinz. After finding out that the site was Webkinz Insider, cynalot was asked if she would like to meet the Creative Director of Webkinz.
"I only had an opportunity to speak to him for a few minutes. I sent my regards on Justin's behalf and asked him what was going on with the Curio Shop"
"I think he thought I was going to complain about the one rare limit and the lack of advance notice but was very surprised when I explained how the different time zones were seeing a different rare schedule and how the rares had been known to switch mid-hour in the Asian and European Curio Shop."
According to the Creative Director, the rare schedules are fully automated and random, but each time zone is supposed to follow the same schedule so there is a bug somewhere in the Curio system.
"On my way out, I passed his office and had the opportunity to pop in and ask him one last question about the recent surprise retirees. He told me that yes, the love puppy and sherbert bunny are officially retired.Originally they had intended to keep the door open, but since they had no plans for a re-release this year or next year that it was simpler to just retire them altogether. He also said that there were mistakes on the list that they are working to fix as we speak."
As to the Focus group, the children were asked to do three different activities and answer a few questions.
Both of her children put on a felt board show, made a marble contraption and did a counting exercise. They were also asked to choose their favorites out of six prototype stuffed animals.
As the old saying goes, time sure flies when you're having fun! It is hard to believe, but almost one year has passed since WebkinzInsider.com was born. On March 23rd, the site will celebrate its first birthday and the first ever WI Birthday Bash will be held in honor of the event. As a follow-up to our article from yesterday, reporting the mysterious new additions to the Kinz Style shop in Webkinz World, we have confirmed information from Ganz that there are new additions to the Kinz Style line! These additions are due to be shipped to retailers in April.

Can Webkinz pets get married and have children? Webkinz pets can't get married because they are too young -- they aren't even teenagers yet! Lil’Kinz are little brothers and sisters for your Webkinz pets, so if your pet is lonely you can adopt a whole bunch and then they can have lots of siblings!
One of the users in our Webkinz Forum, Tinkerbella, contacted the staff with the following PM:
i would just like to let you know that i got a token that seemed normal but when i put it in the wish machine i got a trophy..
it can be sent through kinzpost and i got to keep a token in the "bank" as well (a credit towards an exclusive)!!
Everyone congratulate her on being the first Webkinz Insider user to get the Token Collector Trophy! We're not sure why it was awarded and appears to be a randomized event at this point.
In addition, we've also seen a "super token" a few times, and one of our moderators, mommamea13, provided us a picture of being awarded an extra token!
Both of these tokens (the Token Collector Trophy and the Super Token) appeared to be normal Wish Tokens, but yielded different results when they were "entered" into the Wish Factory! Good luck with those tokens everyone!
One of the users in our Webkinz Forum, sodapop907, alerted the staff to some new items in the Kinz Style shop in Webkinz World. Pictures of the items themselves do not appear in the Kinz Styleshop, even if you click "preview"! Until these items actually appear with pictures in the Kinz Style shop, we want to caution all of you against buying them, as it may lock up your account until the items are fully-added to the Webkinz World servers. In the meantime, you can imagine how these new clothes will look by reading the descriptions below!
