During last night's updating, Ganz also released some new, never-before-seen food recipes in Webkinz World. An Administrator on our forum, COWS4YOU, received the new Monstrosoupy recipe from a Series 2 Trading Card code late last evening. Another forum user, AgentLucy, just received the Slimescraper recipe item during a Lil Kinz adoption! Here are photos of both of the new items for your viewing pleasure:

Overnight maintenance has resulted in some new changes to Webkinz World this morning. There is now a new game in the Arcade called Tropical Troubles, the Pretty in Pink theme now has a complete set of items and there will soon be Floating Eggs throughout Webkinz World.
The new Tropical Troubles game will be perfect for the Bananza lovers out there! It features the Bananza Monkey in search of his coveted bananas.

A few days ago we previewed a couple of the grand prizes we would be giving away during WebkinzInsider's 1st Birthday Bash on March 23rd. Now we're back to announce all FOUR of our grand prizes! We are thrilled to confirm that we will be giving away the following items:
The four grand prizes are the very rare and retired Elephant Statue, Blue Dragster and Holiday Tubby Tummies Bear, as well as the Space Shuttle from the Trading Card Series 2 prize line up! In addition to these prizes, we will also be giving away over 50 other items to our members during our Birthday Bash. Spring is nearly here, and as many of you have noticed, there are new advertisements running in Webkinz World. These "Celebrate Spring" ads, which show White and Sherbet Bunnies decorating and playing with Easter Eggs, are a reminder that it is almost time for our Spring Gifts to arrive.
In 2006 the Spring Gift Box looked like a giant Easter Egg and contained White Bunny Ears and Chocolate Easter Eggs. In 2007 the Gift Box looked like an Easter Basket and contained Marshmallow Bunnies, more Chocolate Easter Eggs, and Fuzzy Pink Bunny Ears. There's no telling what this year's box will contain.
So, remember to log on to your Webkinz account on Sunday, March 23rd to recieve your special gift. If you don't log on, the KinzPost will pass you by and you'll have to wait an entire year for more Spring themed gifts.
And don't forget that March 23rd also happens to be a very special day for Webkinz Insider, our First Birthday. So, after you collect your Spring Gift in WW, stop on by WI to join in the Celebration!
We just received word from the Webkinz Creative Director that the Lil Kinz Leopard is NOT being retired, as previously reported and still shown on webkinz.com. We have been informed that the retirement is actually an error and is not the case at all. Special thanks to Cynalot, as this information was a result of her meeting earlier this week!
