Let's all say Congrats to kawee on their adoption of their Sleepy Woodland Dragon. Here were can see them pictured next to their Pet Specific Item: Cedar Toy Trunk. We have seen this item in December when there was a glitch and this Pet Specific Item was award to the Cotton Candy Puppy. kawee received this code via email congratting them their one year renewal, yet they never renewed. So check your emails to see if there is a code waiting from you from GANZ as others have reported getting this dragon code also.

Our First Webkinz Adoption Video - Polka Dot Bobcat!

Hey everyone! We've started a new channel on You Tube and I am both anxious and nervous to be releasing our first Webkinz-related video. We have big plans for the channel and hopefully you'll enjoy what we have to offer. Since it's encompassing all of our sites into one place, we're the Insiders Network! Please subscribe!
So far, we've managed to put out some decent Club Penguin videos, and I've applied the skills I've learned over the past month or so to try my first Webkinz video. It took me about 26 minutes of footage to finally get what I wanted.. Hopefully, I'll do better next time! Anyways, here's the Polka Dot Bobcat adoption video that I made!
 
Please be kind, but I'd love to hear any suggestions and constructive criticism on what I could do better next time. I've got the Sweetheart Monster code ready for adoption, but I wanted to get your input first!

Webkinz Newz offers sneak Peek of Polka Dot Bobcat and Sweetheart Monster

Webkinz Newz has released images of two new on-line pets that we can expect to see in the near future. This first pet is called the Polka Dot Bobcat and comes with a Spotted Tea Trolley PSI and the Polka Dot Donut PSF. The Polka Dot Bobcat is the second Polka Dot pet introduced in 2012.
 
 
The second pet looks like it could be a 2012 Valentines Pet and is called the Sweetheart Monster. This adorable monster is seen here with it's PSI the Love Potion Cauldron and it's PSF the Monstrous Milkshake.

Webkinz Players Wonder About Cotton Candy Closet Glitch - *UPDATED*

Over the past week, many of our members here on Webkinz Insider have been asking about the Cotton Candy Closet, the Pet Specific Item for the Cotton Candy Puppy.  As many of you are discovering, there is a glitch affecting this item.  Players who adopt the Cotton Candy Puppy are being awarded the item shown above.  
 
As you can see, it has the name "Cotton Candy Closet" but it has the picture of the Cedar Toy Trunk, which is supposed to be the Sleepy Woodland Dragon's PSI.  Thank you to WI member stargumdrop1 for this picture from her account.
 
Several of you have placed calls to Ganz Customer Service about this issue.  Hopefully their programmers can sort the glitch out soon and match the proper item up with the proper pet.
 
UPDATE (12/29/11 @ 1:00pm EST): Webkinz Newz has posted the following update: 
 According to Webkinz Newz, "Nafaria has intercepted the Sleepy Woodland Dragons on their flight to Webkinz World and has stolen all of their precious Cedar Toy Trunks!"  GANZ is aware of the issue and hopes to have the problem resolved by January 4th, and things put back into their proper places. 

Super School Day at the Kinzville Academy, February 8th

Have you seen this cow before? Maybe even just a few days ago on February 3rd? The cow pictured at the left is Ms Cowoline and is the Superintendent of Kinzville Academy. Seems that this Superintendent is really pushing educating our webkinz as she has made February 8th another Super School Day at the Kinzville Academy! That is correct! Not even a week later since the last Super School Day and Ms Cowoline is offering two credits for each class you complete. Seems this bovine is all about educating our webkinz and doing her part to help us. Thank You Ms Cowoline for making Wednesday, February 8th, another Super School Day!
 
 

Webkinz Newz Announces Two New Treasure Hunts

    Webkinz Newz has announced two new Treasure Hunts for this month: February 1st through February 29th. The two new hunts are: Winter Treasure Hunt, where the prize is an At Your Service  Penguin virtual figure and the White Terrier Treasure Hunt, where the prize is a virtual Milkshake for Two. Good Luck and Happy Hunting!
 
UPDATE: You may want to hold off on the Treasure Hunts. Webkinz Insiders are reporting that the Winter Treasure Hunt is presently rewarding a Hippo Figure rather than the intended At Your Service Penguin Figure. They are also reporting issues getting past the first clue in the White Terrier Treasure Hunt. Stay tuned and we will let you know when things are running smoothly.

A new sneak peek arrived on Webkinz Newz not too long ago. This new pet is called the Sleepover Puppy and boy is it adorable. The Sleepover Puppy with come with a PSI called Pizza Party Perch and a PSF called BFF Buttery Popcorn! There are no hints on whether this new pet will arrive in stores as a Plushie or whether it will be a virtual only pet. Keep watching Webkinz Insider and we will let you know when and how this pet becomes available.
