Default How do I add a link to the Wiki?

On the wiki, I want to make text that when you click on it, it links to another page in the wiki.
How do I do that?

Like this?

If that's what you want to do:
Copy and Paste the URL for the place you want the link to take you.
Go to the editing page on the Wiki where you're editing/creating the page.
Click the little Earth picture.
Enter the URL in there.
It'll post the full URL.
So then what you do, is highlight that URL, then just type what you want.
HELP!
(Just a note, make sure that while you're doing that that it still looks underlined and a different color like a URL should. Sometimes it'll just do regular text and not do the link, so if it does that, just retry it.)
Then preview it. If it works, congrats. If it doesn't, just try and redo it.

Default Re: How do I add a link to the Wiki?

The WIKI works a little differently with links to other pages. There is no "globe" pic like here in the threads. You have to use other codes.

To make a link from Wiki to Wiki:
For example, if you wanted to link to the "Arcade" page, you would type in [[Arcade]]. The brackets will put in the link automatically. Use the brackets around the name of the page you want to be linked to. This will link you to another WIKI page. If you want to link to a thead, see below

To link from WiKI to thread:
use a single bracket around the webpage of the thead:
example:
[http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...ard-new-62945/ WI High Score Board],

The first part is the actual webaddress. the second part in the brackets is the word that will be displated as a link.

So, in the above code, you would see "WI High Score Board" and click on it to take you to the address in the brackets.

Hope this helps.

Oh, I didn't know that.
I've never used the Wiki before, so I just assumed it was the same.
So I guess disregard what I said, and do what Dog said.

Default Re: How do I add a link to the Wiki?

DogLUVR is correct. Wouldn't you be able to do the code for it also? Like this:
Sorry if that didn't show up... I meant this:
[ URL="url goes here" ]url goes here[ /URL ]
(without the spaces before brackets)

Am I right?
