Well, I don't think these words should be banned because i use them referring to me... lol. or sometimes something in WW that i dont like. for example, i messed up a trade in the GE, and I said "oh, im so sorry, I'm stupid sometimes like that, LOL" or in WW "I hate the stadium because i can never get in!" but referring to other people in that manner would be very hurtful. Those words used appropriatly are fine though.
I am with you 100% and do you want to know what bugs me the most? When people just put a period or spaces between a word so it goes through on the forum and they can say it.
For instance, let's preted that "pig" is a bad word and we are not allowed to say it on the forum. If someone wanted to call me a "pig" then they could just say, "You are a p i g" or "You are a p.ig" or something of the sort.
This is my two cents and I really hope it get's fixed in the future.
I know, it is just plain unfair when people do that! I did that once, but it was because some person was saying that boys were better than girls, so I said that was s e xist.

Yeah. I don't think it is that bad, but one time, there was a new member who was banned because they kept calling someone a crap head.

I've noticed an awful lot of hurt feelings in WI lately, and I wonder if words like "hate", "stupid", "dumb" and the like were disallowed in posts, would it make a difference?
Hate is a very strong word and should not be used lightly. As are any words that imply a lack of intelligence in others, whether those others are Ganz or members of this forum. Those some are very hurtful words.
I would be interested in hearing everyone's thoughts on this.
My grandmother always told me it’s better to ask yourself this question before you said something that you might regret later.” How would you feel if someone says the same words to you? Would it hurt your feelings, or make you feel small in anyway?” If the answer is yes, then hold your tongue. It is easier than saying,” I’m sorry” later when the damage is already done. Because saying I'm sorry doesn't always make it okay. I think she was a very smart woman and many times, I wished I had heeded her advice more closely after it was too late.
Those aren't swear words so their not that bad in my opinion ,but where are all of you people seeing these hateful posts at... I've yet to see any of them.. Sorry if I sound rude ,but this isn't really a problem...
Pandyma, I totally agree with you! I think it is a matter of RESPECT for others. The way people speak to each other is appalling at times. Not just here, but everywhere! WI should be a place where kids and adults can come to and enjoy Webkinz! And, we could all learn a lot from the old saying, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." I can't tell you how many times I have started to write a reply to someone that I disagree with, and then re-read what I typed and thought "Wow! That doesn't sound very nice!!" So, I retyped my reply in a way that was more respectful. If what I am about to say is something that I wouldn't want said to ME, then I certainly am not going to say it to the other person. That's the beauty of typing an answer....you have the time to READ what you have written before you click "send". When you are having a discussion with someone, sometimes the words come out of your mouth before you have a chance to stop yourself. But, there is never that excuse with the typed message. Take the time to re-read your reply, and question whether or not it is respectful before you click "send". Just a thought.....
