Default Re: Why a limit on kind words?

I too, agree that the limit is ridiculous. I enjoy giving rep points to posts that are insightful and helpful. I don't think there should be a limit on the generosity in someone's heart. I have been frustrated many times over because I couldn't give a person rep point more then once in a certain period of time. I believe that acknowledging the posts that are truly helpful, only increases the "want or drive" to continue being pro-active in producing great responses.

well, some, once, someone gave me a rep just because he wanted to rep another person twice, so gave rep to me and other peeps randomly to "spread the rep"in some ways it is good, in other it is bad, on the limit.

i mostly agree w/ that. i think that if WI wont take that off then i think they should raise the amount of rep you can give. and btw, how can you find out if a person gave you rep?

go to the banner and click on user cp..... then click on user cp home. it will take you to the page where you can open the area that shows the last (i think) ten reps you have gotten.

It helps keep the integrity of the rep system intact. I'd rather wait a day than have the rep system loose it's importance.
