I think that WI should start a program where we send a webkinz to each person workig in the military... We could even make a special clothing line that says thank you on it and let them have a full camoflauge outfit... Do y'all agree?
er, this sounds like a great idea, it really does, but there are a LOT of people in the Military. I mean, yeah, it would be nice, but that would be a LOT of money on WebkinzInsider. Yeah, this is a great idea, but I don't think it will work. Rep for the nice thought, though!
Long ago, I suggested this...Called it Webkinz of Mass Destruction...
There was a story:
My DH told me about one of his days...They were issued their weapons...Now of course what I heard was, "We were issued our Webkinz."
I went on and on about how WONDERFUL it was that they Army was issuing Webkinz to the Soldiers! What a WONDERFUL idea, Webkinz is such a happy place, and what a wonderful thing, to give the soldiers something happy when they are about to be shipped off and in a not so happy place, and I asked what he was going to name his Webkin...
His response, "WEAPON you goofball!"
I still think it is a good idea, but what I think is equally (if not better) is to have a program that soldiers can enroll their children in-to get them set up with a webbie...it is REALLY tough on the children of deployed parents, and anything to get their mind off of their parent's deployment is a good thing...WW is sometimes the only bright spot in my kiddos' days, and I've been trying for a long time to somehow get something like that set up-just isn't working so well! haha!

I love these ideas! If only ALL the military troops in the world were issued Webkinz instead of weapons...
Maybe you could start a local group at your school or church or someplace, where you could have people donate Webbies to the military kids in your area.
That's such a good idea maybe you could have a fundraiser at your school or in your neighborhood that would help and they could either Donate Webkinz or money too get Webkinz for them, that would be so cool and it would be a good thank you for All their Hard work! Hopefully we could do something like this soon or sometime in the future can't wait too see if or how this takes off! hope you can do it! Great idea
That's a fabulous idea! It would really make deployed soldiers happy to know that people are thinking about them and trying to (if not actually) make thier day. I think it would make them very happy to recieve the Webkinz. Excellent idea!
i've been thinking of similar idea, something like SOLIDER webkinz. and they wore little hats and camo and stuff. and that every time you bought one, they make a webkinz similar, without a code, and sent it to the soilders.
i've thought of the same thing for haiti, except they where webkinz that had shirts that said haiti on it and stuff. and the webkinz had the shirts on when u logged them on, and for every haiti webkinz bought, they donated some of the money to haiti.
haha sorry i got off track. but anyways, this is a great idea. i wish both our ideas where possible... well, they are, but they probably won't do it...
That's a good idea. =) Almost like how the kids in fires get stuffed animals or something. It would be hard to set up on WI, though, but if some of us maybe organized a local group that would raise money to send the Webkinz, it would be beautious. =)
