I agree. I know it's supposed to be a trial, but I've gotten about 5 of them... I'd like to just save up enough to have it for a whole year or for 6 months. Whatever they choose I'd be happy with it though
I thought there was a 6 month subscription... I think it's nice enough that they let you have a 30 month subscription. But for a lower price? That's a no-no. Some people pay it with real money that goes to WI.
Yeah, some people want it for less though, It might be possible to make it so you can select the amount of days you want the subscription and the price would depend on how many days you selected, i did the math and each day of the current WI bucks subscription costs 1667 dollars (could be rounded to 1750 or maybe 1500.) I think that would be more efficient because lets say you wanted a subscription right now, but next week, you would be out of town, busy, or somehow not able to get on to WI, so those days of your subscription would be wasted.
That probably won't happen though since it does cost money for this domain and to use v-bulletin and the only way of paying for that is adds, donations, and of course i'm guessing some of that money had to come out of Justin's pocket
I don't support this idea.
Alot of people already complain about how 'expensive' the subscription is using WI bucks.
It'll be even more expensive for one for a whole year, and it would take you much longer to earn enough to afford that. It would be easier to buy a 30 day one, and work on saving for your next monthly subscription, then not having one at all while saving up for a yearly one.
And if you want to buy a WI subscription for a year at a time, you can buy one with real money.
I think that would be a good idea, I guess. I tried out the free trial and it's definitely a good thing not to have ads, but I realized I don't even notice they're there most of the time, tbh. But I guess it's still a good idea, as long as it's for as much WI Bucks as it deserves.
