Default WI Bucks Suggestion... :]

Hey guys!

I was thinking that maybe having the 'donate and subscribe' buttons could be optional. I'm tottaly fine with them, however, i'm concerned about younger kids. As people always say, little kids don't read the 'Bigger Kids Only' signs so they'd just waltz on in. So don't you think the same could happen with those buttons?
Like, paypals are sometimes always on computers, and what if a kid just bought that. It may have been an accident, but then parents would get mad because they lost their money. I think maybe if you could, maybe let parents know. Like through email that if they want, they follow a link and they can access their child's account.

Thank you!

Yes, I can see how that would happen...But I'm not sure it'd be a great idea for parents to 'monitor' their childrens accounts. Then everyone would have no privacy and WI just wouldn't be fun anymore if you knew you would get grounded for every wrong move you made..

But as a solution though, they could have you enter an e-mail for donating, then they would send you an e-mail with a verification code, and then you'd enter it and donate/subscribe. Kind of how they do it when you make an account. But I'm fine if you don't get my point

I agree. But, the button is pretty small, so a child wouldn't just "accidently" touch it. It could happen though. Also, paypal, etc. has a number code, so you better make sure they don't touch that button! For younger children, a parent should be close by.

Backflip -

The "Donate" and "Subscribe" buttons direct the user to the paypal login page which requires a password. This is the same even if the user is currently logged into paypal. Hopefully this alleviates your concern!
Happy St Paddy's Day!

I dont think it would be possible for them to buy anything, since they would have to log into there parents PayPal account, or Enter all the credit card + other Info to purchase it
