I like this idea. I think that the owners of WI would love to celebrate when their members have joined. (I know I would want to express thanks to the people who have given me so much!) Usually things like this are not accepted and just closed down, but I think it would be nice to give a shout out to the members of my own site, if I owned a website. After all, people joining are the heart and soul of this site.
I support this idea n_n most people don't see the point in adding their anniversary to the calendar, but it'd be really interesting to see who joined on the same day as you/people who joined on your birthday, ect.... one of my friends joined on my birthday, but i didn't know that until i accidentally glanced at their join date one day, lol.
i add my anniversary to the calendar, because i have few actual friends and need more days to celebrate things it's a special day for me.
I don't see any harm in this, this would be a nice feature. It could work like the birthdays do; only the active members' anniversaries are shown.
*note* if you forget your anniversary, you can always see it on the profile. It's to the right
