Smile UserName Font

Hi! Thanks for viewing!

I was thinking that we should be able to change the font style of our username. Everyone would have a cool, uniquely decorated username. It could be in the Edit Options Section.

Of course, the vBulliten might not allow it, but it is just an idea.

Any comments appreciated, and please rate! Thank you!

Default Re: UserName Font

I think this would be a unique idea, but I think it would take away from the colors of usernames and the boldness and italasized(sp.) of some. For example, it may take away from Justin's because his is bold, red and italisized, (again, sp.) and if everyone's looked different, you might not be able to recognize his posts as well. I also think that this would slow the server down from having to load so many different name codes. I think this was a great idea, but not for some. Of course, I am sure other members out there will think this would be a great idea!

I think that'd b awesome. I don't know how it would work technically, but it's cool in theory.

No problem, badena. I think it must have taken some great creativity to think this up, and I give you props for that!
I just don't know how it would work out in the long run, that's all.

Great Suggustion!
Maybe the font style should match our default font-- Example, my name would be in Georgia... because my font is set to that font.

These types of suggestions are always intriguing; however, I'm sure there are limitations to what can be done by each member to enhance their individual space. I like the uniformity up to a point, but the artist in me craves uniqueness. I am always blown away by how creative so many of the members are with their avatars and signatures and this would certainly let each person shine in their own way. I really like your suggestion and it will be interesting to see if any of these type of changes come about in the future.

Rep! Good idea! It would also be easier to find that person if the font their using isn't used much.

That would be a great idea! Though I do not think vBulletin has the feature so it will probably not be possible.
