LOL, I know how you feel, but I like the idea of a USER defined option only. Where we see it ourselves, but no one knows that we have it You know, basically like Rep is handles. people see that we have rep, they just don't know who is giving us rep...BUT if we go into our User CP we can see who gave it to us.
The Thread subscriber tool could be used that way, you know? I have my options set to not automatically subscribe to threads. I hate having a pile of threads I have posted on being in my subscriptions. Plugs things up
Go into your 'Edit options' from your Quick Links menu under the Penguin in the banner. Under subscriptions select Do Not Subscribe. (save changes)
Then come back to the thread you want to keep tabs on and where it says 'Thread Tools' under the Header, select 'Subscribe to thread.' then click again when it says 'Add thread' Now it is in your subscriptions and you did it without posting. That is how I keep my threads for Guides and How-to's so handy
You could do that for the people you want to keep as your top 10 and all you have to do is subscribe to one thread to do that...maybe that would be a good solution for now
