Default Titles are titles.

I just wanted to remind everyone that a title is a little thing that names the thread so please don't put your whole question in it. This isn't very good to do, because it is frequently confusing people, and sometimes people won't post too. Here's an example:

Example:

Title: I can't get my webkinz out of the rooms they are in help!!
Message: Title says all! HELP!

Title: CLICK NOW I NEED HALP!
Message: Okay, so....

It's sort of confusing and most of the time I see people post saying: What? I don't get it. ??? or they will view it and not know about the question.

So, please, a title is a name, not a message.

I agree, the title should tell about the thread. I always visit threads with interesting titles before those with boring titles that don't have anything to do with the topic. Titles should be well thought out and creative. REP to you!
I also agree with the title not representing the whole thread. That is bothersome too.

Posting the whole question is too confusing but maybe they could just say HELP Webkinz Stuck! or maybe just Webkinz Stuck! that way you get an idea of what the question is about without taking up space and making it confusing. If everyone listened to your idea and posted less the Help section would be a LOT less cluttered. And for people that are posting like that if you are able to say title says all then you know the title is a bit longer than it should be.

Great reminder!
Also, its ok to make your titles interesting though. Just don't include your whole message in it.
One more thing, make sure your title tells what your topic is about. Don't just put your title as "HELP!" and then in your message say what you need help with. If someone has to click on your thread, read the whole thing, and then they can't help you, thats a waste of their time. Just put "Help with (whatever you need help with here)" or something.
Okay I lied, there's ANOTHER thing I wanted to say lol.
Don't put your title as something like "OMG I met a celeb!" and then have your message saying, "Okay, so I was wondering, whats your favorite color?" That's just off topic, lying, and plus your readers will lose interest when they read your post.

yeah sometimes I see people with threads like "Oh No! A item is stuck in my room help!!!!" And then they say "The tittle says it all! Help!" just like you said. I also don't like it when people use tittles like "Pleeeeeeeeaese clickie!".

Yeah, then I'm always like, " Um, well, do I even know what they are talking about?"

I myself, do not really care for posting. I love reading other peoples threads though. When they have the question in the title, that save me some time by allowing me to just read the thread and not have to click it. I'm sure it is confusing to some people, but I actually prefer it that way

That is a good second opinion Jbone. In some ways it may be good for someone in a rush, but if it says something like 'CLICK NOW!!' it might take up time because you could know nothing about what their question is.
