I don't think that the person hacked on. i believe everyone in the world is good.
no offense, but that attitude is what gets accounts hacked. My cousin thought everyone was good, then her account was hacked and a few items stolen. She got suspicious of everyone, including me, whether they knew her password or not(i did). if i was hacked, I would make a thred, tell people to watch out, maybe contact Ganz, tell my friend, and get over it.

I got an account on a different game (Not WW) hacked and stolen, and the company owning the game said it's not mine and said not to try to recover it again or they'll ban all my accounts...everyone in the world is good except the bad people and there are a lot of bad people lol...but you weren't hacked I bet,if you were, why on Earth would they send it back?Lol...if I was evil (I'm not,but as an example) and I hacked an account, (IF I was evil, remember, lol) I would take the items for myself and keep them...otherwise I would've went through a long hacking process and learning all about computer programs, ect. for nothing...pointless work, huh?

I know someone who hacked my friend on webkinz.Later she felt bad about hacking my friend,so she admitted it,and sent the items back. She even sent a gift.
I think a note at the most. Maybe this person hacked onto your account and stole it, and then gave it back. It is a possibility, and s/he tried to make it better, but a note will do the job if it was a gift truly from the heart, but then, if s/he stole it, you would not want to reward them. I hate to have to find the negative, but I feel like accounts are always being hacked.
Wow, that's kinda sad.I know there are hackers and bad people out there but my first thought would be that it was a nice person who sent it to you because they had a few extra and you had none. I've sent perfect strange items because they had mentioned they wanted one and I had it to spare and something about them caught my attention. All I expect in return is a thank you and acknowledgement of the gift. It would hurt me for someone to say that at the most all I deserved was a thank you because I probably was just a hacker. But unfortunately there are so many hackers and deceptive people so you have to be wary. It's really a shame.
I understand completely what Lily is saying about hackers and I am fed up with hackers too. I have had to help a friend replace an acct with many items and rares. You do need to be careful but in this case I feel the sender of the gift is just someone with a giving heart. It would make them happy to hear from you that you appreciate their thoughtfulness and love the gift. You posted this thread so it shows that you are thankful to the sender but I would also personally kinzpost or PM them to thank them. It would make them happy to know that you are happy. They saw you were unhappy aboout the loss of the sweater and they wanted wanted to make it better.
So a thank you note is definitely in order. You have a new sweater and a new friend. I'm glad you have a happy ending to this thread.
