Yes, but think of how many threads they have to close in a day.
Honestly, this would be a lot of work for them,
And they already work wayyyy hard enough!
Why can't you just pm a mod for questionns?
When admin pms you, to tell you your thread was closed,
It says, "If you have any questions, please ask a moderater or another staff member".
And usually it shows and example, of why it was closed!
Like one time my poll was closed due to being 'too random'.
So why do we even need this? Hehe, just curious.

Usually all you have to do is read through a thread, and the reason it's been closed is sort of obvious. The threads in this section are usually either answered by a mod or admin, or the idea runs its course. I had a thread here a while back that ran for a short time, and then I asked for it to be closed because the point had been made, and it was just 'done'. I would say that if you are really curious about a suggestion, and you don't really see a clear answer in the thread, ask the owner or or one of the mods.

I recently had a thread closed with no word why it was closed; just a PM alerting me it was closed. I would like to know why it was closed, so I wouldn't make a violation again. I can't PM, so I have no way of finding out. This would be a good addition !

Whenever one of my threads get closed, the automated PM does not have a message from a staff member; it just states that it was closed. Judging by a few other posts, it looks like I am not the only one getting the "empty" ones.

As for PMing a staff member... If there wasn't a post, how would we know which one to contact? There have been a few threads where mods have agreed with a suggestion, only to have it be closed. I just think it would be harder to pinpoint the exact staff member than have them just post. I'd be fine with something like:

(lets pretend NascarFan closes a thread)

Closing this thread as this is not possible. Please PM me with further questions.

I dont think it would be a ton of work. 20 seconds to write two sentences (shown in my above post)

I guess.. idk, maybe it'd be a good feature?
Just something I personally would never appricate!
No offense, it IS a good idea.. I just don't see the need exactly!

As it says in the auto pm...if you have questions PM a staff member...doesn't matter who closes a thread...any one of us can determine why!
