| | Suggestion: Thread titles
I was on another message board the other day, and I was new there, so I went to "introduce" myself. I named the thread, "Hi! I'm New!" and then typed my message and hit post. I got a message saying that that thread title was already in use, and I couldn't use it. I then tried other stuff like "Introducing myself" and I finally had to settle on "Junner's Welcome Post" or something like that.
I really like that idea. I think that this way, we won't have 15 different threads in the General Chat about how one new item in the WShop was taken away. It would clear up the board, double-thread wise, and make it easier on the Mods and admins, so they know that so many people aren't posting the same thing. Also, when someone does get that message, its a lot more clear then the little notice that pops up when you type in your thread title as it does right now. So, then you'll know that its already there, and all you have to do is actually read through the forum and then post on that thread.
Does that make sense? Is that a good idea, mods/admins?
