Making 50 good posts, then immediately stopping = new status
You really need to know someone in order to be sure to understand them. I tend to judge people by their join date. But that's a flaw on my part. Ideally, each of us would not be able to see usernames, posts, giftz, rep, really anything. But that's the Utopian dream that won't happen. People like being able to know others. COWS4YOU has earned that trust. She has proved that she's posting worth while things and people know they can go there.
Try to post useful content, and the wheel of views will give you a grand prize.
In agreement. I'm not saying that you're bad if you have a lot of posts, but not a lot of rep, or vice versa. Sometimes it is nice to know who has posted more useful things, especially if you're having to trust their opinion for it, but that's not saying anything, because they might be a new member. But about the shops, yes. I agree there too. It really helps new members to post in their shops and order things to give them the chance to prove themselves. REP4U
This might have been posted before, but I wanted to remind WI members that statuses/posts/stars/rep points etc. shouldn't have to be what we're all striving for. We all like to see new statuses, more posts, and other things like that, but a lot of people seem to get carried away with this. Oh, and I've also noticed (it goes with the posts thing) that some people will judge other members on how many posts they have. Like usually if a newer member has a shop, it won't be as busy as some other ones, new members can have good work too.
The real trouble with that attitude is that it ruins what it is all about ... A person can have a million posts and are they good and useful ones? As far as rep goes is it real or just to get more rep? I have seen rep abused so badly that it makes it meaningless.Thank you for a great post!
