Sometimes I see threads that have very poor spelling and punctuation.I really want to help them, but I can't understand them!Maybe they'll be using to much text speak or be talking like this:
Hlp I nEd hlp wll my ww @((0u/\/+ got haked & idk wut 2 do shud 1 cll ganz or wut
Believe it or not,I have seen several threads like this.Poor grammar and puncuation included. Its easy to tell where punctuation. So please do it
BTW-If you problems with spelling, use the spell check button. It looks like this.
Great thread, I have seen many posts and threads where people t@lk L1k3 this. ???
I don't really get why they do that, because it's easier just to talk regularly.
Anyway, nice thread, I totally feel the same.
I agree, it would be great if people could type threads in all real words instead of text talk. Poor grammar just makes the thread look bad and less people will want to read it. There's always spell check, but it seems that people intentionally spell things wrong sometimes.
REP to you!
I agree. Typing out real sentences and real words really does not take that long. It's one thing when folks use LOL or a smilie to indicate emotion, but quite another when the conversation melts down to text speak.
I completely agree.
I use the occasional "thanx" or "luv", but when 'text speak' dominates, it's just annoying.
It took me a few minutes to figure out that "@((0u/\/+" meant 'account', now that's really annoying.
Very true! I in fact stray away from threads like that because I can't understand a word! The occasional =) or LOL is OK, but when text speak dominates, I can't read a word, and it just leaves me frustrated! It's easier to talk normally, just try it!
