I completely agree! Some may say just to put your name on the artwork. It won't look as nice and professional then, so often times users choose not to do so. And if you didn't make it, but it was still something unique that you found it's still annoying.
I saw one person, just take a custom made avatar somebody was using, save it, and insert it into their slideshow. That's really kinda of rude, because the first user made it for themselves, and the second one didn't even ask if they could borrow it. Everyone should totally ask, you never know if some av, sig, or pic had some sort of special meaning to it's owner. Sleep tight, and have a peaceful rest.
If I took something from google, it wouldn't bother me if they took it. It's not my property or piece of work. But, in another case, if I made it, like my avvie, I would be angry. It was something I made, my property. But something not made by me is another case.
This is super true...
Great thread! I totally agree...some people steal my favorite avvies, and they are they for a reason! That's why I post them...so I would be glad if they wouldn't steal/take them anymore without asking! I always ask, it makes the person feel more appreciated.
Again, great thread! Rep!
