I agree. I think the *tenletterrule* thing is useful when a short response is required (which i rarely in the open forum), but if you are just posting to post, take the extra time to put a few words together.
Kidding!! I think it's fine on Profile's because maybe you don't have anything else to say than a word or two, but on a REAL post, it's REALLY lame if you say, 'yeah. (tenletterrule)
And it's not okay to add things, like (dumbtenletterrule!) or something like that!
I have to admit... I am torn. I use it sometimes, when i can't think of anything to say, but i agree, too! Ahhhhhhhhh!! To me, sometimes people can't help it, they are at a loss of words.
my brain hurts now!
First of all, thanks everyone for posting! It's so nice to see that other people actually care about this, LOL! ♥ U ALL
And tennisstar, I'm sure that you can fine a little something to say that's more than 10 words. And I forget who said it, but whoever did (they said that it's mostly for profile messages), Well you can just put a lot of !!!!!!!!!!! and stuff like that. Ten letter rule on profiles is whatever, put if you're posting in the forum, at least make it worth while! LOL
sometimes people put a very short meassage down for instence "no" because it really emphasizes what they think/believe and it gets their message across. though it does look a bit weird i have no problem with it. i personally don't think its a big deal.
