Unfortunately, there is no way to change the size of the room after you buy it. I did the same thing, buying all mid sized rooms then as my house grew and grew I didn't have enough space. I bought a few larger rooms, moved 2 webkinz out of their rooms and then re- decorated the mid sized rooms into ther things , like a play room, study room, kitchen ,, ect....

Right now you can't do anything about the rooms once you have them. However, sometime in the future something is going to change. In the breaking news about the questions answered by the Webkinz Creative Director this answer deals with your question:

Question 1 -- Asked by multiple About rooms: Will we ever be able to enlarge our room size (after they are bought or after adoption) and/or move/sell them? Further, will we ever be able to move/eliminate doors?

While I can’t go into the exact details of what we have planned, more control over your house layout is something that we’ve put a lot of thought into and is something that we definitely want to add to Webkinz World. We know that our fans put a lot of effort into designing their homes and we have a number of upgrades planned (including some you’ll really be surprised by).

Thanks BearBowler thats great it sounds very promising. I have lots of too small rooms. With my four newest I bought a large room and made it a dorm type bedroom cuz they were four lil kinz.. it would be great to be able to redesign a little bit.. like I bought a small room for a bathroom and id love to be able to get rid of it...
