Rep is a fun thing, and almost always, people leave nice comments for you. But unfortunately, there have been a couple instances where I've been left rude or disapproving comments in rep. Mods can't see rep, so really, you could say almost anything there. . . I'm sure other people have gotten some really rude messages before.
I was just thinking, there should be a little "Report" button, next to the rep in User CP. Just in case.

I support. :3 I haven't received any "hate rep," but I've heard of instances where people have. Really any part of the website that mods can't see is kind of iffy...I mean what if someone wrote something really offensive? Technically it's one person's word against another, since screenshots could be edited to fake a rude message. A report button would fix this. :3
I do find it ironic how they're adding to your good reputation with disproving comments though. xD
Yes, i don't get any "Hate" rep messages, but this would be a great idea in case you do. If you get anymore "Hate" rep messages, Take a screenshot and send it to a Admin. They will fix it for you.

i'm not sure i understand the concept of "hate rep", nor have I ever gotten one (or maybe i just interpret any semi-rude comments as being sarcastic because i'm just that naive)... I'm not sure a report button for rep messages is really necessary...?
But I guess "hate rep" is a thing so yeah. idk. It's a good idea, I'm just not sure how useful it would be.

I received mean rep once, and PMed a staff member about it, and was like "I know it's uncommon for people to ask for rep to be removed, but, I was wondering if it was possible. soandso left me a rude rep message, and, I'd rather lose the rep point and have it removed than to keep a rep that was merely given to me so that they could get away with saying something rude, without anyone else seeing it.".
But, I can't recall for certain if it was deleted, but I want to say it was?
You can always screenshot the rep message, and PM one of the mods/admins it - and they can do something about it from there.
But that's a lot of work, so I agree, there should be something like this - although, there isn't an option as far as I know for this available on vB.
The only thing wrong with that is it's really easy to edit a screenshot sadly. c: I can just picture a member trying to fake that someone [someone they didn't like maybe] sent them hate rep. I agree though.

Why would you edit a screenshop of rep? That would be really shallow.
I have never gotten any hate rep before...
But is this even possible?
I say that you should just take a screenshot, PM and admin, and problem solved.

Not everybody is a super graphics designers; to edit it you have to have the right font, size, and everything else. Sometimes your rep could be different sizes depending on how much text there is in it.
To edit rep... you'll be the one to get banned.
I bet it'll be easy to spot a fake.
Is there any way to report the post where you got your "bad rep" from? Because if you click on the post with the bad rep, can't you just see it? (others cannot, but you can). There are two places where you can view your rep.
