Can we please make a conscious effort to stop making threads regarding basic rules here on Webkinz Insider? I am referring to all the "reminder" threads that are sprouting up about things like not using certain colors, being nice, not giving personal information, and such items.
These are in the RULES and known things so what is the purpose of posting a "reminder" when everyone already knows? I know a lot of the time it is just to get rep points. Earn your reputation points through helping people...and other worthy things...not just pointless reminder threads.
I know! Everyone wants to be the 'reminder' so they can get praise and rep, but really they are repeating a lot. Everyone knows to be kind, and don't write in blue or red. Some reminders are unique, but most are Basic like you say in the title. Great reminder! ((a uniqure one!))
I agree that the repetative reminder threads are quite annoying. It seems like once one pops up on a certain topic, there are at least 2-3 others. That being said, I do not think that a lot of the people are 'fishing' for rep. In your original post you said that people should earn their rep by helping people. I think that this is what some of these people are attempting to do.
I just try to avoid the multiple threads. I do not want to make anyone feel badly by going on their thread and telling them that there are already 14 thrads like theirs.
