And "Have you read Kevins rules" doesn't sound robotic xD LOL! Jk, jk.

Well, I think that you should politely tell a friend if they have red/blue color.

Well I don't know how you'd say it.

Yeah, that's fine, but making a THREAD about it because of ONE person?

I don't even hear friends say that to one another. That sounds really robotic for someone to say it like that too.. The staff at this forum are VERY nice, and I don't feel they are getting credit for what they do from you. They were made moderators and administrators to help run the forum, help them if there was a problem with features on the site, and let them know the rules when they broke them. Almost all of the staff here are very active, and I believe that they can handle things around the Website themselves.
I can't disagree with you about the rep but reminder threads are okay as long as they're not brought up so much they they become a nuisance.

If you see someone breaking the rules (such as using admin or mod color ink) do you report the post for something as small as that? Just posting on the thread saying, "Oh, I know you're new but I just wanted to let you know that red and blue ink is reserved for admins and mods" is good enough. I definitely let them know if something bigger is being broken, but something smaller is okay IMO. Usually they will go back and change their font color. If you say it nicely, they probably won't feel bad. Admins and mods have enough work without going to every person who breaks a rule and explaining everything to them. Remember that moderating this site isn't everything that they have to do, and members just helping here and there help them as well.

If you see multiple people doing it, make a thread, if you see one person, send them a kind PM (:

But why post it for the public eye to see? PM them. The reminders are basically just for rep and if we didn't have those boxes I can almost promise to you this section of the forum would be empty.

You probably don't need to make a thread over posting colors, but just tell them what they're doing is wrong nicely. Not like "OMG YOU NEWBIE YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING RED IS RESERVED FOR ADMINS!!"

I agree with you on that. If you see someone breaking a rule, there is no need to post a thread though. I would just go post on their profile about it or something.

Some of the lil'kinz don't have PM or don't know how to use it. If it's a big thing they've been noticing around the forum then go ahead and make a reminder thread, but not if you only see one or two people.

yes i see what you are seeing DL. if someone posts in the "Hi my name is joe section" in blue in just
let them know about it. but the threads in this section are repetitive, all saying the same things

That is true. They are not always sure, but if someone posted that on my welcoming thread if I was new (about the red and blue font) I'd be a bit embarassed, wouldn't you?

Well anyways, this thread is getting really off topic. I'm going to flag it and get it closed.
