Default Re: Reminder Threads

I've always found them annoying, but especially so when it's basically someone trying to act like a mod {or grownup or whatever}, when I have read the rules, haven't broken any, and don't need to be reminded or told any of it. Like you I feel it gets in the way of the real threads that I would actually care to read or would need to see for some reason. The last ones I saw, recently, were about such things as proofing typing {with typo problems in the thread and the posts that agreed LOL}. I find the worst ones about not 'bashing' Ganz -- to which I answer every one of those I see, talking about just because it's something 'bad' doesn't mean it's bashing someone/something, and when {or i*** they ever fix all the problems with the thousands of accounts, bad servers and so then I can quit talking about it. I don't like the facts, they don't like the facts, and it still hasn't changed the facts. LOL Definite rep on this.

Yeah like I have seen threads recently saying to type grammatically (guess what? Google Chrome just told me I spelled that word wrong LMBO). Although I always try to, sometimes I don't want to use a capital at the start of the sentence, or a period at the end. Besides, typing grammatically at all times is NOT a rule. And I totally agree with you on the bashing Ganz thing. Just respect peoples opinions, sometimes they just need to vent what they are feeling.

I think the reminders are a good thing for members, so they don't forget. But, I also don't think people should make multiple threads just because they want rep.

If it's a reminder that is actually important (like one time I saw like 5 people saying they had more than one account), then yes that is a good reason to make a thread, but seeing one person do something and using it to tattle, or just going to the rules and finding one to make a reminder of (for rep) is pointless.

Yeah, a reminder like that is ok, but if it is a reminder for the kinzville contest/daily activities, then those are appreciated

i agree, jake. too many of them.

i would hate for anyone to proof read all of my posts because i don't think i have ever used capitals at the start of any sentence i have written here on webkinz insider... and it is not because i don't know how to, it is just easier to get the post written.

I agree with you, it is WAY faster to do, and people should not be correcting one another because of it.

I deffinetly agree. if they think that theres such a problem with stuff like that then they can go to an Admin or Mod. Most people who make threads like that are just looking for rep, they dont care about the actual issue!

Personally, I think people should read the forum rules that Kevin posted:

http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...-posting-3999/

It has a lot of good rules, but not everyone has read them before.
