Yep, I agree with this. When people do it in every section, on a well-detailed post someone spent time writing on, it gets annoying. I have even been a victim (this word doesn't sound right for this situation xD), and I really found it rude.
And if people realize, someone most likely spent some time writing that post. It's not very fair if you quote their post, post it, and your post count gets raised. Yes, both of your post counts will get raised- but one person spent some time on their post, and the other person didn't.
But, if you don't want to spend the time, just write a little note saying you agree.
I think Mods and Admins should post this in the rules, because I think there are lots of people who do not know this rule. I think if more people know about it, there would be less and less of those replys.
I actually used to think this too, but apparently if someone expresses the same thing you wanted to say it is allowed to just quote their post
However, it doesn't take much extra effort for someone to quote and then add "I Agree!" which would be much preferred and more clear for the thread creator to know what you are talking about and why you quoted the post
