It's when you stop to look at how you are spending your time and ponder what effect things will have on your future that you start to really become an adult.
Living in the moment is a kid thing (although heaven knows I wish I could go back!)
I don't know how old you are but this revelation is a sign you becoming more mature and growing up, and as exciting as that may seem, it also means that you're leaving your childhood which is also sad. Parents say "You don't want to grow up too fast", childhood is like webkinz world -- Loads of fun until one day it's gone. You want to enjoy it (webkinz and childhood) as looooong as possible. But don't be to sad or disappointed because the future holds exciting things even in the internet world. A meaning of life is held in the experiences we have and the memories we retain. Be thankful for the experience not sad that it is gone. P.S. Some of us adults are just trying to get some of our childhood back.
You have got me thinking about this all day. I see what you mean. I think I am going to leave WI. Not quit just not be on much at all. I have a bit better things to do. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE WI but is holding me back.
Everyone DOES have this poster! This has been in 4 of my classrooms! It's like, what is up with dat? But I totally agree! BTW we have a name for the day when everyone leaves WI it's called "Doomsday" lol!
